Classes I to V

The school follows the system of regular assessment through assignments and observational activities. Every student has to appear for three cycle tests.

Term 1 : April’19 – August’19
Term 2 : September’19 – December’19
Term 3 : January’20 – March’20

Cycle tests will be conducted during each term. (Schedule will be given)

Classes VI to VIII

Scholastic Area: - The Assesment structure and examination for classes VI to VIII is comprised of two terms i.e. Term 1 and Term II as explained below
Subject Term - 1 (100 marks) (1st half of the session) 20 marks Periodic Assessment + 80 marks for half yearly exam Term - 2 (100 marks) (2nd half of the session) 20 marks Periodic Assessment + 80 marks for yearly exam
English PA 20 Marks
* Periodic Test 10 marks with syllabus covered till announcement of test dates.
Half Yearly Exam
* Written exam for 80 marks with syllabus covered till announcement of half yearly
PA 20 Marks
* Periodic Test 10 marks with syllabus covered till announcement of test dates.
Yearly Exam
* Written exam for 80 marks with syllabus coverage as below:- Class VI: 10% of 1st term covering significat topic + entire syllabus of 2nd term. Class VII: 20% of 1st term covering significant topics + entire syllabus of 2nd term. Class VIII: 30% of 1st term covering significant topics + entire syllabus of 2nd term.
Hindi     * Note Book submission 5 marks at term end.
Sanskrit/French * Note Book Submission 5 marks at term end.   * Sub Enrichment 5 marks at term end.
Mathematics      
Science * Sub Enrichment 5 marks at term end.    
Social Science

Language 1 Board will conduct Class-X Examination for 80 marks in each Periodic written Test, restricted to three in each subject in an Academic Year. This will cover

Speaking & listening Skills
Speaking & listening Skills
Practical Lab Work
Maths Lab Practical
Map Work & Project Work
Language 2 Subject covering 100% Syllabus of the subject of CLASS-X only.
Science  
Mathematics Marks and Grades both will be awarded for individual subject Average of the best two tests to be taken for final marks submission.    
Social Science 9-point grading will be same as followed by the Board in class XII  

Class XI - XII

XI - Two unit tests, one half yearly and one final examination will be conducted.

XII - One unit test, one half yearly, one pretest and one pre board. 75% attendance is essential to appear in the final examination.

Assessment in the following areas of learning will be done in terms of grades on Nine point scale.
